Leixlip Writers Group has published their first anthology, titled ‘Coffee Shorts’

The launch of the book takes place on Thursday 21st of September in Confey GAA clubhouse.
We would like to extend an invitation to all to join us on the night.

The launch night starts at 7.30pm with a wine reception.
Guests will be treated to readings from some of our group, with a twenty-minute interval where tea, coffee and snacks will be served.
Everyone is welcome and entry is free.

Leixlip Writers Group has been in existence since 2012. Currently, there are 16 members who meet monthly in Leixlip Library, and this is our first Anthology.

It is a diverse mix of stories, prose and poetry from our sixteen-strong troupe. 

Over the course of the last five years, we have been lucky enough to have had workshops from some excellent established writers including John MacKenna, Shauna Gilligan, Lindsay Sedgwick, Joanna Walsh, Hazel Gaynor, Mae Leonard, Dave Lordan and Eoin McNamee.

John MacKenna, Shauna Gilligan and Lindsay Sedgwick very graciously offered words of praise for Leixlip Writers' Group which appears on the back of the book.
