A Contemporary Venue Steeped in History
Situated just 24 km west of Dublin on the M4, the historic university
town of Maynooth has been an important political and cultural centre
since the Middle Ages. It is home to the National University of
Ireland, Maynooth, and St. Patrick’s College, which is the
national Seminary.
The campus at Maynooth is an intriguing blend of old and new, set
amongst beautiful gardens and tranquil parkland walks, the campus
offers modern facilities for over 6,000 students. Beyond the college
gates Maynooth village has an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Bus and rail links to Dublin are nearby.
Set amid peaceful gardens, College Rooms offer a choice of standard
single, twin and double rooms. Located in splendid Georgian and
neo – Gothic buildings, these rooms offer magnificent views
of the finest features in Maynooth, including St. Joseph’s
Square, the Bi Centenary Garden and the Geraldine castle. Originally
part of the seminary, each room has a wash – hand basin, with
showers and toilets located on each floor. There are a limited number
of en-suite rooms available. There are tea and coffee making facilities
available to all resident delegates.
