The Audio Studio
The Audio Studio runs out of one live room. This area is large enough to hold a large drum kit, but not to record a band as a unit. All recordings are made solo, resulting in the cleanest direct sounds to mix with. The Audio Studio is not limited to the recording of Bands / Musicians. Since 2007 a broad range of programmes have been developed that have enhanced the usage of the studio and better engaged with artists needs.

Opportunities
Kildare County Council Arts Service offers a range of recording
opportunities to individuals and community groups. This includes
recording bursary awards and bsidised programmes. We welcome suggestions
for alternative uses of the Platform4 Audio Studio
Commercial Rental
The facilities in the Platform4 Audio Studio are offered at
subsidised rates, which include use of the recording facilities and the
services of the House Engineer. The studio can be rented for full days,
half days (ideal for singer songwriters) and for short-term rental
(audio / commercial recording).

The Digital Media Studio
The Digital Media Studio is a new addition to the Platform4 Studio.
Using the industry standard ‘Final Cut Pro’ editing software this space
aims to offer high quality Apple Accredited Training and film editing
facilities to artists in Kildare and beyond. The Digital Media Studio is
developing creative editing courses for filmmakers. Similar to the
Audio Studio, programmes will be developed based on the needs and
suggestions of artists / filmmakers.

editing, compositing, effects and audio capabilities. Broadcast /
multimedia outputting to various platforms is supported. The main
workstation in the Platform4 Digital Media Studio is available to rent.
