Come All Ye: Traditional Song Project Rathangan and Ballitore Libraries
Are you looking for a different after school experience for children? Aileen Lambert is a singer of traditional songs from County Wexford. She is passionate about passing on her love of songs and singing to children and adults alike. The Arts & Library Service of Kildare County Council is delighted that Aileen has again agreed to deliver a series of
workshops for primary school children in Rathangan & Ballitore libraries.
Children will explore different styles and genres of singing and song - serious songs, nonsence songs, fast and slow songs. Have the opportunity to listen to live and recorded songs. Discuss and share their own experience and knowledge of songs.
The workshops delivered over a six week period during October and November will culminate in a performance. Workshops are FREE, but places are limited so booking is essential.
