  • 9.00 a.m. Leaving the Peace Pole for Kildare Town.
  • 10.00 a.m. Lighting of the flame by Christy Moore
  • 10.30 a.m. Registration for AFRI Conference.
    Venue: St. Joseph's Academy, De La Salle Secondary School.
  • 10.50 a.m. Conference Opening
  • 11.00 a.m. "Mo Scéal Féin".
    Speakers: Robbie McVeigh & LaurenceMcKeon, with facilitator Ann Fitzgerald.
    Topic: Northern Ireland.
  • 12.30 p.m. "A Call to Arms". Speakers: Joe Murray and Claire O'Grady Walshe.
  • 1.30 p.m. Lunch
  • 2.30 p.m. "The business of blood". (excerpts from Donal O'Kelly's play).
    With questions and answers.
