Being Accountable For Our Funding '99
The audited accounts of Kildare Money Advice are detailed in annex 4. The main points are as follows: total income was £115,000 in 1999, up slightly from the previous year; expenditure was £115,777, also up on 1998 and leaving a operating deficit of just under £1,000; the main expenditure items were staff wages, which included the provision of a pension scheme The Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs provides the a core operating grant for Kildare Money Advice, on the basis of a three contrast (1998-2000). We also retain a £10,000 loan guarantee fund, which is lodged in Maynooth credit union. Being Accountable For Our Funding '98 The turnover for Kildare Money Advice amounted to £103,725 in 1998. The main income source is the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs, who provided a core operating grant of £102,000. We received additional funding of £1,277 for the Green Paper seminar and £5,000 to purchase new computer equipment, also from the Department, and £350 from Action South Kildare, for the purchase of a tv/video unit. Expenditure amounted to £101,116; the main items were wages and PRSI (£66,000), with office and travel costs amounting for the remainder. There was an operating surplus of £2,609 for the year. Details of our accounts are contained in Annex 4. We also retain a £10,000 loan guarantee fund, which is lodged in Maynooth credit union.
