How Can We Help?

When a person contacts our service an appointment will be made with our money adviser.  We have two bases, one in Newbridge and one in Maynooth.  If the person cannot come to our premises our advisers will meet with them in their local Credit Union office.

Our trained advisers will listen to problems without judging, go through their budget with them and help them to make their own decisions by giving them advice they will need to bring their situation under control.  It is not important why or how people get into difficulties - what is important is to deal with the situation as it is now.

The service will negotiate on a person’s behalf with creditors, if wished, to help renegotiate repayments to a rate that can be afforded.  A key feature of the service is a Special Account scheme provided in partnership with local Credit Unions to enable a person to budget their money and pay off debts.
