A voluntary organisation of lay people who help people in need on a person to person basis. Membership is open to anybody who has a little spare time to help needy people
What is the major activity of the members ?
Visiting distressed families in their homes. Helping people who suffer with illness, loneliness, desertion and alcoholism. Distributing clothing, fuel, food, beds and furniture to needy families.
How would one know if one would like the work of the Society
One will never know unless one tries.
Too few people are
trying to do too much.
There is a conference in most towns and villages
in County Kildare.
