Ryder Cup 2006 - Volunteers Needed

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to say that you were a part of the historic 2006 Ryder Cup Matches, the first to be played in Ireland?

County Kildare Fáilte, in conjunction with Fáilte Ireland, East & Midlands and Ryder Cup Ltd, is operating a meet-and-greet service at the park and ride areas and the coach terminals at the K Club during the Ryder Cup practice days and match days. If you have an interest in golf, a friendly disposition and would like to see the world’s top golfers battle it out for golf’s most prestigious trophy, contact Máirtín Lane on 087 4169582.

You need to be available on some or all of the following days: Tuesday 19th to Sunday 24th September 2006 and for an orientation day on Saturday 16th September.

The park and ride areas are at Weston Aerodrome, Celbridge/Leixlip and the PGA National golf course near Johnstown. The coach terminals are both located at the K Club.

Successful applicants will gain access to the K Club on the days on which they volunteer.
