Subject: Kildare Community Network

This is a short note to subscribers to inform you that the Community Network will be having its official launch on Thursday 10th Dec 1998. Although we have been on-line since January, it is only now that we feel we have reached a stage in our development at which we should seek wider publicity. The launch will coincide with the installation of the County Council's own website into the Community Network at http://kildare.ie/countycouncil

The launch will take place at the Council Chamber in St. Mary's, Naas at 3.00pm, and all subscribers to this newsletter will be welcome. Refreshments will be served. We would welcome any suggestions our subscribers may have for the future development of the Community Network, and we are particularly interested in hearing the comments and suggestions of our overseas subscribers, on how we can improve our service to benefit the large numbers of people accessing the Community Net from abroad.
