Trad Sessions at The Harp, Ballitore, County Kildare

For many years now, Trad Sessions have taken place at The Harp on the first Friday of every month.
Lisa Fennin is the third generation female owner of The Harp. Her bar hosts performances by artists from within a 20 mile radius of the village who play a range of instruments: tin whistles, accordions, guitars, banjos, flutes. The best of the Irish tradition, and more!
For those fond of Ireland and its folklore, the bar itself deserves a visit. It featured in "the Irish Pub", a documentary that was a huge hit across the country.
People have come from far off places to visit the The Harp and actor Gabriel Byrne, who spent his summers nearby as a child, often has a pint there.
