New Credit Union Branch For Newbridge

Naas Credit Union has confirmed that it has purchased a premises in Newbridge.

Credit Union services will become a lot more convenient for the 2,000 active credit union members in the Newbridge area when a new Credit Union branch opens in the town in 2016. Naas Credit Union has confirmed that it has purchased a premises on Edward Street, Newbridge with a view to opening a new branch for the convenience of its members.

Members of Naas Credit Union will have five locations from which to access credit union activities including – Main Street, Naas; Monread Shopping Centre, Naas; Ballymore Eustace; Main St, Maynooth and shortly the new Edward Street, Newbridge location.

Speaking about the development, Sean Murray, General Manager of Naas Credit Union said, “This is a positive development for all our members, particularlythose in the Newbridge area who again wish to be part of the Credit Union movement. We are a strong, growing credit union which is actively lending and we are in a position to offer a vast range of services and make lending accessible to the community. Opening a branch in the town gives us a greater opportunity for face to face interaction with the Newbridge community and we hope to grow our membership in the area.”

Naas Credit Union was established in 1968 to provide financial service to the Community, it now has Euro 123 m in assets. The Credit Union is actively lending and it is hoped that the five branch network will attract more members to avail of its range of savings & loans services but also the convenience of ATMs, internet banking and mobile apps.
