Jap-Fest is a single day event with the Irish Drifting Championship s its centrepiece, the show is well established as the biggest annual car event in the country and also includes the final of the Irish Time-Attack championship, the best of Ireland's Japanese car clubs and web sites and a Show 'n' Shine competition sponsored by car care experts AutoGlym.

The final round of the Irish Drift Championship will be made up of two days of action. The Semi-Pro and rookie competition will be contested on Saturday (September 27th) with the top drivers not only picking up championship points but also earning a chance to compete in qualifying for Sunday's main event. Sunday's 'Final Fight' will be all about the International battle as the Irish Championship has already been decided in favour of Duane McKeever.

The line-up for 'IDC the Final Fight' is gradually taking shape with new drivers being confirmed every day. Top Polish team Bud Mat are the first European contenders to confirm their entry with both Piotr Wiecek and Dawid Karkosik making their Irish debut.

Triple European Champion and former Irish champion James Deane has also confirmed his appearance along with former Irish champions, Darren McNamara, a winner in Formula D in the USA this year and Alan Sinnott. Like Sinnott, Gavin Lenehan will make his return for the 10th anniversary as will regular Irish visitor Phil Morrison with his V8 engined Toyota Corolla. Martin Ffrench has confirmed his entry with his incredible NASCAR engined Nissan, as has the youngest ever UK championship round winner, teenager Jack Shanahan.

More big Drifting names from around the world and here at home will be announced as the Monster Energy Jap-Fest gets closer so make sure you book your tickets in advance to secure those all important Grandstand seats which will give you the best possible view of the 'Final Fight' battles, including all of the action and replays on a large TV screen.
