11 fillies to line up in Darley Irish Oaks

At the Curragh on Saturday 19th July.

The Dermot Weld trained Investec Oaks runner up Tarfasha, and Volume trained in Britain by Luca Cumani, who finished third at Epsom, are among the eleven fillies who will line up in Saturday’s Darley Irish Oaks at the Curragh, following the declaration of runners this morning.

Etihad Airways Irish 1000 Guineas winner Marvellous and recent Ribblesdale Stakes winner Bracelet are among a strong team who will represent Aidan O’Brien, while the Richard Hannon trained Lustrous, and Very Often, trained by Dermot Weld, are other notable entries in the Group One Classic.

In addition to great racing, the Obrien’s Wine Most Stylish Lady competition in association with Stella & Dot takes place on Saturday, while Defence Forces Race Day on Sunday will feature a variety of displays and exhibitions for all the family to enjoy.
