The race will be the feature race on day 3 of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival on Sunday 29th June
Entries for the Group One contest, following today’s final forfeit entry stage, include a strong team from Britain with last year’s winner of the race Ambivalent, 2013 Irish 1000 Guineas winner Just The Judge, recent Princess Elizabeth Stakes winner Thistle Bird and the unbeaten Pomology trained by John Gosden. The home challenge is led by this year’s Etihad Airways Irish 1000 Guineas winner Marvellous and Venue De Milo, both trained by Aidan O’Brien.

The first of 8 races on Sunday starts at 2.15pm and the high quality programme also includes the Group 3 At The Races Curragh Cup with the Dermot Weld trained Pale Mimosa likely to start favourite, the Group 3 Grangecon Stud Stakes and Group 3 Friarstown Stud International Stakes, while the Macari’s of Kildare Ladies Derby will feature the top lady riders.
An exciting Family Day theme includes a variety of free entertainment for children includes bouncy castles, face painters, Cossack Stunt Riders and the chance to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the Minions from Despicable Me.
