Two Athy properties are listed to go under the hammer in the forthcoming Allsop Property Auction in Dublin on 1st July next. They are Kilberry Stores (Reserve Range €40,000-€60,000) and the former home of Campion Insurance at 20 Leinster Street (Reserve Range €28,000-€30,000).
A number of local properties have been sold by the firm in recent years, including White Castle (€195,000- 2012), a shop unit at 8 Stanhope Street (€25,000- 2012), a residential/ commercial building at Stanhope Place (€345,000- 2012) and a warehouse/ office unit at Athy Business Campus (2013- Sold after auction for undisclosed amount). The former Leinster Arms Hotel was listed by the firm for their recent February auction, but was subsequently withdrawn and is currently advertised with Lisney’s (seeking €1.03 million).
Of the 183 lots listed for the forthcoming RDS auction, only 2 others from County Kildare are listed- Straffan (Residential) and Naas (Industrial Warehouse).
