12 declared for Etihad Airways Irish 1000 Guineas

12 runners for Sunday's race...

The John Oxx trained My Titania has been installed as favourite for Sunday’s Etihad Airways Irish 1000 Guineas following today’s declaration of runners. The Group One Classic taking place at the Curragh has attracted 12 runners most notable being Lightning Thunder, Palace, Vote Often, Al Thakhira and Marvellous

Magician and Noble Mission are among the 8 runners in the Tattersalls Gold Cup also taking place on Sunday, while 14 runners will line up in the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas tomorrow Saturday with Kingman, Shifting Power, War Command and Mustajeeb among the leading contenders

The first race on Sat the 24th is at 1.45pm with the feature race, The Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas running at 3.20pm.  Racing on Sunday the 25th of May also starts at 1.45pm with the feature race, The Etihad Airways Irish 1000 Guineas running at 3.55pm, while it is also K Club Ladies Day in association with Irish Tatler with spectacular prizes for the ladies judged to be Most Stylish by judging featuring Harmonia publishing and media personality, Norah Casey, RTE personality Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh, model Alison Canavan,  Ciaran Casey of Irish Tatler, Sharon Smurfit of The K Club and Anna Fortune of The Kildare Post. There will also be a prize for the Most Stylish Man.
