Athy Town Council 1900-2014
Athy Town Council will mark it's 114th year with a Special Meeting and Presentation of the Council to take place this evening (Friday, 28th March, 2014).
Invited guests will include representatives of Elected Members from the First Council in 1900. The first meeting of the re-constituted Urban District Council took place on 7th April, 1900.
A Commermorative Booklet containing a copy of the minutes of the first meeting is available at the Council Offices, Rathstewart, Athy.
