Exciting Volunteer Mentoring Opportunities

Le Cheile Mentoring Project is looking for volunteers for mentoring young people in Kildare.

Le Chéile Mentoring & Youth Justice Services is a child-centred, non-judgmental service which trains and supports local volunteers to work with young people and their families involved in Young Person’s Probation.

Le Chéile is currently looking for Male and Females in Kildare to become Young Person Mentors and Parent Mentors.

A Le Chéile youth mentor is a role model who through weekly meetings supports a young person to make positive choices.  

Activities could include, cinema, eating out, snooker, evening classes, etc. or simply chatting with and guiding them with issues affecting their lives. Activity costs will be covered.

As a parent mentor you can help a parent through a difficult period in their life and help them to make positive changes in their home.

Le Chéile Mentoring and Youth Justice Support Services works together with Young Person’s Probation to affect positive change in the lives of young people who offend and their families through the provision of mentoring and family support services.  Le Chéile recruits, trains and support volunteers from local communities to work with young offenders and their family through child-centred, non-judgemental mentoring services.
