Athy's Gathering Events Continues...
A chance for South African people from all over Ireland to get together and celebrate being South Africans in Ireland.
Location - Athy Rugby Club, Dublin Road, Athy
Its also an opportunity for our Irish friends to come along and sample some of our favorite South African food and drinks.
From 12h00 until 18h00 there will be stalls selling lots of South African food, drinks and goodies. There will be bouncy castles for the kids, and a rugby match between the SA lads and the Athy team at 2pm. There will be South African beer and spirits on sale in the rugby club.
From 18h00 onwards, DJ Brian Berry will be rocking the place with a mix of old school music, and even some South African tunes too!!
(Some of the food on sale: Boerewors rolls, biltong, droe wors, nik naks, ghost pops, fizzers, potjie kos, bunny chow...... Castle lager, Windhoek lager, Savanna Dry Cider & Klippies & Coke!!)
