Proposed one way system at St. Michaels Tce/Rathasker Road

 

Proposed One-Way System

“St. Michael’s Terrace and Rathasker Road between its junctions with the Newbridge Road and Kilcullen Road, Naas.”

 

Notice is hereby given that Naas Town Council, in pursuance of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act, 1994 proposes to make an order to amend traffic movements in the above area on traffic safety grounds which will result in the following:

-        The closure of the

Rathasker Road/Newbridge Road

junction to exiting traffic, except to that from Flemmings bicycle shop,

-        The closure of the St. Michael’s

Terrace/Kilcullen Road

junction to entering traffic,

-        The closure of the

Rathasker Road north

of its junction with St. Michael’s Terrace to entering traffic,

-        The creation of a one-way traffic system along

Rathasker Road

and St. Michael’s Terrace from the

Newbridge Road

as far as the junction with the

Kilcullen Road

.

-        The construction of a new footpath along the western side of Rathasker road between its junctions with St. Michael’s Terrace and the

Newbridge Road

,

-        The construction of a 2m wide footpath along the entire northern side of St. Michael’s Terrace.

 

A map showing details of the proposed works may be inspected in the Town Council’s Offices at the address below during the normal working hours of Naas Town Council from 6^th August 2009 to 3^rd September 2009

 

Objections or representations may be made in writing to The Town Clerk’s Office, Naas Town Council, Aras Cill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare, in relation to the foregoing proposal before 4.00 p.m. on Thursday the 17^th September 2009 and should be marked “ ”Proposed One-Way System St. Michael’s Terrace, Naas , Co. Kildare”
