REVIEW OF NAAS TOWN DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2005-2011 AND PREPARATION OF A NEW NAAS TOWN DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Part II Section 11 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 and Article 13B of the Planning and Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004, that Naas Town Council intends to review the Naas Town Development Plan 2005-2011 and prepare a new Naas Town Development Plan for its functional area.
The Planning Authority will carry out a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) as part of the review process and for this purpose, the Planning Authority will also prepare an environmental report on the likely significant effects on the environment of implementing the new plan, and the provisions of Articles 13C to 13J of the 2004 SEA Regulations shall apply.
To assist this process an “Issues Paper” which identifies the key planning issues that the next Town Development Plan could address, has been prepared.

Naas Town Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas Co. Kildare during normal working hours Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) Friday 15th May 2009 to 10th July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Naas Public Library during usual library opening hours from Friday, 15th May 2009 to Friday 10th July (both dates inclusive).
A public information workshop has been arranged for the Tuesday 9th June in Áras Chill Dara between the hours of 7.30pm and 9.00pm. All members of the public and other interested groups are invited to attend.Observations or submissions regarding the review of the current Naas Town Development Plan and the preparation of a new Naas Town Development Plan and/or the Environmental Report are invited from members of the public and other interested parties.
Submissions, marked ‘Naas Town Development Plan Review’, may be made in writing and should include the full name and address of the person(s) / group making the submission during the period Friday 15th May and 4.00 pm on Friday, 10th July 2009 to;
