Promotion of Recycling
It is imperative that every effort is made to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill sites through the introduction of recycling initiatives. Recycling facilities are located at at Tesco car park, Friary Rd. car park, Ballycane/Craddockstown, Fairgreen Eurospar and at the Civic Offices. Naas Town Council is willing to assess potential sites for additional bring banks suggested by members of the community.
Naas Town Council also provides a Christmas Tree recycling service in January at a number of locations in the town, where members of the public can dispose of their Christmas Trees, free of charge.
Naas Town Council will continue to look at how it can further assist in relation to the promotion of recycling
