Naas Town Council Name and Shame Campaign

Two convictions were successfully granted by the Courts in favour of Naas Town Council on 13^th May 2009, for littering offences.  

Those prosecuted under the Litter Pollution Act 1997 were; 
 

Oxford Property Lettings, 4A The Shopping Village, Saggart, Co. Dublin for the erection of unauthorised signage at Pacelli Road and John Devoy Road, Naas.

Fine of €1,000 imposed plus costs of €270 awarded to Naas Town Council.

  And

Circus Gerbola, The Grange, Lucan, Co. Dublin for the placing of advertising on vehicles at North Main Street and Abbey Street, Naas.

Fine of €1,000 imposed plus costs of €270 awarded to Naas Town Council.  

Naas Town Council is taking littering very seriously and that all necessary steps will be taken to prosecute those responsible for litter offences.
