Naas Library is holding a film club during February & March 2012.
Film maker Gary Hoctor will facilitate this film club on 'The History of European Cinema' over six weeks. Gary will give an overview of how European cinema has developed since 1945, looking at post-war trends like Italian neo-realism and the French New Wave. Directors like Francois Truffaut, Federico Fellini and Wim Wenders, whose work continues to be amajor influence on film makers today, will be studied.
The film club will take place on six consecutive Thursday evenings from 7-9PM, with the first meeting taking place on Thursday 16th February 2012.
