Turtle Bunbury is a best-selling author based in Ireland. His book Vanishing Ireland - Further Chronicles of a Disappearing World, with photographer James Fennell, was shortlisted for the IES Best Irish-Published Book of the Year Award 2010. Turtle's latest book Sporting Legends of Ireland was also nominated for the William Hill Irish Sports Book of the Year Award 2010.
Turtle is the founder of ‘Your History in a Book’, creating thoroughly researched and handsomely illustrated family histories, presented as leather-bound books.
