During his career as a traditional fiddler, Daire o Breacáin has managed and directed two internationally known Irish traditional bands, Danú and Slide. He is known as the vigorously energetic lead player in Slide but he has also played in numerous bands including: Danú, the David Munnely Band, Electric Céilí, Salsa Celtica, Stockton’s wing, Púca, Gráda, and many more. He has supported numerous singers including: Shane MacGowan, John Spillane, Liam Clancy, Cathy Ryan, Niamh Parsons, and many others.
