Ava McCarthy was born in Dublin and is a graduate of University College Dublin, with a degree in Physics and a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine. A former Medical Physicist and Computer Analyst for the London Stock Exchange, she has worked in the software industry for over twenty years. Ava McCarthy’s debut thriller, THE INSIDER, was selected as Book of the Month for Sainsbury’s Book Club, and her books have been translated into 12 languages worldwide.
Ava McCarthy now writes full time, and lives in Dublin with her husband, two children and two dogs. She is currently working on the third book in the series.
