Tracing your Ancestors in County Kildare

This book introduces all the main sources necessary for genealogical researches in County Kildare: where they are housed, how to use them and who can help.

The guide also includes a brief history of the county

This is a collection of writings from Kildare edited by Sheila O'Hagan, Writer in Residence (1993-94).

Contributors include members of the creative writing workshops in the libraries of Maynooth, Naas and Athy as well as well-known writers such as Desmond Egan, Frank MacGuinness and John MacKenna.
