Print PageBook Clubs New Teen Bookclub
There are six bookclubs and one filmclub ongoing in Leixlip Library at present.
Tuesday evening bookclubs meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month 7 - 8pm.
The 3rd Tuesday of the month meeting is dedicated to a murder/mystery theme.
Wednesday morning bookclubs meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month 11 - 12pm.
A Children's bookclub takes place on the last Friday of the month 3.15 - 3.45pm.
A new Teen bookclub has started and meet the last Thursday of every month 6.30 - 7.30pm.
Places are limited but if you are interested in joining any of the above please contact the Library.
Leixlip library filmclub meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 7 - 8pm. Members meet to discuss the DVD of the month in an enjoyable and informal atmosphere. Places are available for all interested film buffs!
The Children's Book Club
A group of children aged from 10 - 12 years gather every 4th week on a Friday afternoon to tell Fionnuala about the book they have been reading. The meetings take place from 15.15 to 15.45. We have a full group at the moment but if you wish you can add your name to a waiting list. The reading club is strictly for 10 - 12 years.
New Teen Bookclub
New bookclub for teens ages 15 - 18 yrs. We meet once a month in Leixlip Library, the last Thursday of every month 6.30 - 7.30pm. We will read a book per month and discuss it together, with drinks and snacks provided. New members welcome. Please enquire at the library by phone or email.
