Mary Leadbeater Room, Ballitore Library and Museum

The Mary Leadbeater Room is devoted to the life and times of Mary Leadbeater and other Quaker families associated with Ballitore from the 18th century and later.

Mary Leadbeater wrote her poetry and the descriptive Annals of Ballitore (1766 –1824) seated at her writing desk, beside the arched window, which still looks out on the village square.
