About Us

Athy Community Library is situated at Convent Lane, Athy. The library was formerly a Dominican church - the building, with a hyperbolic parabaloid roof, is an excellent example of brutalistic architecture which was in vogue in the 1960s. The new community library in Athy was officially opened on 3rd May 2018 by Mr. Michael Ring, T.D.
