Assistance Towards
Projects For Open Spaces In Housing Estates 2009 
Leixlip Town Councillors have prepared a scheme to encourage
residents in housing estates to further improve the general
standards of their estate.
Under the scheme Leixlip Town Council will match on a 1:1
ratio up to a maximum of:
€200 for areas with 1 - 49 houses
€250 for areas with 50 - 99 houses
€320 for areas with 100 - 199 houses
€380 for areas with 200 - 299 houses
€450 for areas with 300 + houses
in any one instance, monies spent on improvement schemes
which have been approved by the councillors and which would
improve the overall appearance of the open space in the estate.
Leixlip Town Councillors will have no responsibility for
the projects other than payment of grant assistance under
this scheme.
The matter of responsibility for insurance shall be one for
the organisation undertaking for work and is not the responsibility
of Leixlip Town Councillors.
No grant will be paid until approved scheme has been completed
to the satisfaction of Leixlip Town Councillors.
Completed applications must be returned to the Town Clerk,
Leixlip Town Councillors, Newton House, Captains Hill, Leixlip
Leixlip Town Councillors will not be responsible for late
entries.
Where possible, materials should be purchased locally,
Grass cutting is not covered.
Labour costs are not covered. (Materials only)
