NAAS, 16 November: by Trish Whelan. The last Tuckmill Art Exhibition to take place in the venue used since its inception took place last weekend, and attracted a large crowd of artists and art lovers.
The exhibition, organised each year by Martina Phipps and a mark of her support for local artists, was opened by Cllr Mary Glennon, who paid tribute to Martina for her work over the years.
Lawlors Hotel will be undergoing a major revamp in the new year, which will include the demolition of many of the interior public rooms.
