Family of Christopher Deering:
My great-great-great grandfather Christopher Deering was born around
1828 in Usk and emigrated to America during the famine around 1849. Trying
to locate any links to him. I do not know who his parents were or any
of his siblings. His father was a farmer and he had a niece named Elizabeth
Dolan. While in America he married another Irish immigrant, Julia Duffy
who was from Milltown, Co. Wicklow. They had 5 children together William,
John, Thomas, Anna, and Emily. Any information would be helpful.
