Kildare County Council, on behalf of Gas Networks Ireland, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following roads during the period commencing Tuesday, 9 February 2021 and Wednesday, 10 February 2021 to facilitate the installation of pipework.
Planned works are programmed for 2 calendar days. Advance notification of start date will be provided. Roads will be opened early if works are completed early.

Alternative Routes: Vehicles travelling on the Limerick Road, turn left onto John Devoy Road, take the first exit on the main roundabout, then the first exit on the next roundabout turning onto the R448, follow the road until end of diversion. Vehicles travelling along the Rathasker Road, can continue past St. Michael’s Terrace, and be allowed to exit onto the Limerick Road. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation & Public Safety, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or by e-mail to roadssubmissions@kildarecoco.ie on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 18 January 2021.
