Kildare County Council, on behalf of HES Civil, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road during the period commencing Monday, 11 January 2021 to Friday, 22 January 2021 to facilitate crossing the Confey Road (L1015) with two no. 220kv circuits to the new Intel sub-station and resurfacing of roads following the installation of pipework.

Alternative Routes: Light vehicles less than 3.5T will take the R149 then the R148 then the L1014. HGV’s can take two alternative routes: Route 1 is the R157 to the R148 into Lucan then take the R149. Route 2 is the R157 to Dunboyne to the L2228 to Clonee to the R149 to Lucan. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation & Public Safety, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or by e-mail to roadssubmissions@kildarecoco.ie on or before 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 07 December 2020.
