Parking Enforcement in Naas and Athy

With effect from Friday 24th November 2017, Kildare County Council's advises that its current parking contractor, APCOA, will commence the regulation of parking on public roads and in public car parks in the towns of Naas and Athy. Parking will be regulated in accordance with the Road Traffic Act and Pay Parking Bye-Laws, as adopted by the Elected Members of Kildare County Council. APCOA are managed by Kildare County Council's Parking Enforcement Officer, and currently regulate parking on behalf of Kildare County Council in Newbridge, Kildare, Celbridge, Leixlip and Maynooth. The extension of the contract to include Naas and Athy will standardise and enhance parking services in throughout Co. Kildare.

Naas and Athy will now benefit from additional customer services already available in other towns, which include:

24 hour on-line, phone (IVR) and QR code scanning payment options

24 hour on-line, QR code scanning appeal options (appeals must comply with Kildare County Councils Parking Fine Appeals Policy as adopted by the Elected Members)

Pay parking by phone to be introduced in January 2018
