Material Contravention of the Kildare Town Local Area Plan at Loughminane


PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT 2000 (as amended)

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 34(6) of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended) that Kildare County Council intends to consider deciding to grant permission to Garvan de Bruir for the erection of a two storey Design Studio (75sq.m.) and single storey dwelling (142sq.m), access the public road via existing entrance, connection to the public foul sewer and all other associated site development works, and retention of three shipping containers for use as workshop and domestic garage at Loughminane, Green Road, Kildare Town.

The development is proposed on lands zoned Objective H1 – Industry and Warehousing (Phase 1) in the Kildare Town Local Area Plan – ‘to provide for and improve industrial and warehousing development’, where the proposed use would not normally be permitted under this land use zoning. The development would therefore contravene materially that zoning objective of the Kildare Town Local Area Plan.

Submissions or observations, in writing only, posted to Senior Executive Officer, Planning Department, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, marked 19/525 Material Contravention received not later than 4.00p.m. on Thursday, 19 September 2019 will be duly considered by the Planning Authority. Fax or email submissions will not be accepted.
