N7 Naas Road Widening & Interchanges Scheme

The Naas Road Widening & Interchanges Scheme consists of an upgrade of a fifteen kilometre length of the existing N7 between Rathcoole and Naas. The road will be widened from a two lane Dual Carriageway with at grade junctions to a three lane Dual Carriageway with grade separated interchanges. The scheme includes the construction of four new grade separated interchanges, two footbridges and some upgrading works to the existing Maudlins Interchange on the slip road into Naas. In addition, the scheme includes traffic calming and improvements to the existing roads through both Kill and Johnstown villages.

The contract for N7 Naas Road Widening & Interchanges Scheme is a Design and Build contract. The official commencement date for the Contract was the 1st November 2004 .
