KILDARE COUNTY COUNCIL - MOTOR TAXATION

     

APPLICATIONS FOR DUPLICATE DRIVER LICENCES/LEARNER PERMITS OR WHERE THE LICENCE TO BE SUBMITTED WITH AN APPLICATION IS LOST, MISPLACED OR STOLEN.

In accordance with Section 54 of the Road Traffice (Licensing of Drivers) Regulations 2006 Kildare County Council now require evidence of identity with applications for the above. The evidence of identity can by any of the following:

  • Passport
  • Garda National Immigration Card - Certificate of Registration
  • National Identity Cards (as per RSA list)

Please note all documents must be Originals.

If you wish to submit a photocopy of any of the above, the original document must be produced at a Garda Station where it can be copied and stamped by a Garda as a true copy.
