To Apply For Driving Test You Should:

Complete application form - available from Motor Taxation Offices or apply online @ www.drivingtest.ie

Send appropriate fee:

•  Categories A,A1, B, EB, M & W - €85
  
• Categories C, C1, D & D1 - €120
  
• Categories EC, EC1, ED & ED1 - €120
• Cpc Driving Test (Bus Category) Part1 €120
•                                                        Part2   €32
• Cpc Driving Test (Truck Category) Part1  €120 
•                                                           Part2    €32                                                 

In order to apply online, you must have:

• a valid Debit/Laser or Credit Card, Cards currently accepted are Visa & Mastercard.
• a valid e-mail address

Learner Permit Requirements:

You must hold a Learner Permit for 6 months to undergo a driving test in categories A1, A, B, EB, M, and W. This limitation does not apply to other categories.

Canceling Your Driving Test:

• You must give 10 days notice of cancellation, otherwise the fee is forfeit.
• A limit of two cancellations applies to appointments.
• Any further cancellations will result in forfeiture of the fee.
