2011 competition.

Kildare County Council is pleased to announce the the winners of the 2011 Environmental Photography competition.

In the amateur section the winners were:

1st Sean Dunne

2nd Lilian Webb

3rd  Derek Bennett

In the junior section, the winners were:

1st Aine Sheehan

2nd Aisling Bennett

3rd Grace Dunne

A selection of photos will be exhibited in the Council offices. details will be published when arrangements are finalised.

The KCC environmental photography competition has been in existence since 2001. Its aim is to foster an appreciation and awareness of the environment of Kildare through the medium of photography. Since then, hundreds of  photographers have entered hundreds of photographs in four categories: amateur, professional, junior and youth.
