Fire Service Charges

Paying your Fire Service Charges

This system is provided to the public as part of Kildare County Council's commitment to providing quality and timely customer oriented services.  This system allows Fire Service Charges to be paid online using either a Credit Card or Laser Card.

In order to pay the bill you will need the Customer Number (account number) that appears on your invoice.  The Customer Number (account number) is the seven digit number that commences with 51 or 50 near the top of the invoice.  You will also need the surname as detailed on the invoice.

When you enter your Customer Number (account number) and surname the system will search for your bill.  Please ensure that all the details that are outlined are correct before entering the payment amount followed by your card details.

Help Using This Service

What do I need to use to use this service?

  • You will need your  Customer Number (account number) which is the 7 digit number on your Fire Service Charge beginning with the numbers 50 or 51
  • You will need the Surname (as it is detailed on your invoice). 
  • You will need a valid Visa/Delta, Mastercard or Laser Card

How to use this service

If you wish to pay your Fire Service charge click on the "Pay Fire Service Charges" link.  Then enter your Customer Number (account number) and Surname into the boxes provided.  The Customer Number (account number)will begin with the numbers 50 or 51. 

The system will then search for your charge and return the details of this charge to you.  Please confirm that these details are correct and proceed to the next stage of the payment process. 

What kinds of cards can I use?

The following types of credit/debit card can be accepted: -

Debit/Credits Cards

  • Visa/Delta
  • Mastercard
  • Laser

What about privacy and security?

All financial transactions are processed by Realex, a third party Internet financial service which provides a secure environment to protect your transactions.  Your credit/debit card information is not transmitted outside the secure site. What about Refunds
