Heritage Projects and Grants

2020 was a difficult time for many of our grant recipients due to Covid-19. Some planned events could unfortunately not go ahead, others were postponed and some moved online. Below are examples of some of the wonderful projects and events organised by various groups.

Heritage Grants Awarded in 2019

In 2019, 57 groups from all parts of County Kildare were awarded Heritage Grants amounting to €51,160 between them.

Heritage Grants Awarded in 2018

In 2018 47 groups were awarded Heritage Grants amounting to €49,000 between them.  The minimum Grant allocated was €300, while the maximum Grant of €1,500 was awarded to 12 of the groups. 

Heritage Grants are open to community groups and organisations within County Kildare.
