We continue to mourn the passing of Anastasia Kriegel. May Ana Rest in Peace. This is a terrible tragedy for the Kriegel family, our school and our community. We are deeply saddened by Anastasia's death. Our sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Kriegel family and friends.

Leinster CanSat Champions 2018

Congratulations to our winning CanSat team on their superb win at DIT's Grangegorman campus.

The team, led by Ms Selkirk and Mr Dineen will compete in the National finals next month.

(The CanSat competition is a European Space Agency sponsored competition which serves to encourage and motivate students towards STEM based subjects - particularly in the areas of space development technologies.)

Child Safeguarding Statement

The Child Safeguarding Statement is required by law to be in place by 11th March. The Board have ratified the statement and will review it at the Board Meeting in September.

National Technical Graphics Award

Congratulations to Evan McCormack (TY) who was presented with his award and certificate in for achieving the 2nd highest place in Technical Graphics in the Junior Certificate examinations in 2017.

The presentation took place in the auditorium of the Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) in Galway city.

Welcome to way2pay

As part of our commitment to improving efficiencies and security in our school - while making life easier for parents & guardians, we are introducing a new school payments system, "way2pay". This enables parents/guardians to pay for school events & activities online and on your smartphone. You can login to your dashboard or pay on your smartphone without registration. Confey College is a co-educational Community College in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, Rep. of Ireland. The school opened to 36 students in September 1986 and has 756 students at present.

Our college enjoys close contact with local industries such as Intel (Ireland) and Hewlett-Packard. Confey College enjoys the support of an excellent Parents' Association. Home-school links are enhanced by our Chaplaincy and we enjoy excellent relationships with our local primary school, San Carlo.

The college offers a comprehensive curriculum and students prepare for Junior and leaving Certificate examinations. There is also an extensive co-curricular programme for both boys and girls. (Details of the school's curriculum are provided in the Confey College Handbook for Parents.)
