PROPOSED DELETION TO RECORD OF PROTECTED STRUCTURES
In accordance with Section 54 and the procedures outlined in Section 55 of the Planning and Development Acts, 2000 - 2007, Athy Town Council proposes to make deletion to the Record of Protected Structures in the Athy Town Development Plan 2006 – 2012 as follows:
- REF. NO. – AY 078 – NIAH REF. 11505117 – The Abbey House, Back Square, Athy (Buildings)
The particulars of the proposed deletion may be inspected at the offices of Athy Town Council, Rathstewart, Athy, Co. Kildare during normal opening hours:- Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 9.00 am – 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m and Tuesday 10.00 a.m – 12.30p.m. and 1.30 p.m. – 4.00 p.m, excluding bank holidays from Friday, the 30th October, 2009 – Wednesday, the 16th December, 2009.
Objections or representations, with respect to the proposed deletion from the Record of Protected Structures should be made in writing to the Town Clerk, Athy Town Council, Rathstewart, Athy on or before 4.00 p.m. Wednesday, the 16th December, 2009. These will be taken into consideration by the Council before deciding whether or not the proposed deletion should be made.
The proposed deletion of the structure was not recommended by the Minister for Environment, Heritage and Local Government
