Maintenance, Improvement and Construction of Local Roads

Athy Town Council is the road authority for the local roads in the Town of Athy, County Kildare.

The Council commits significant resources to the maintenance and improvement of regional and local roads, in addition to the annual Department of the Environment and Local Government discretionary grant allocation.

A programme of works is prepared for roadworks each year. A proportion of the work on local roads is carried out by direct labour.
