Encouraging Economic Development

Athy Town Council co-operates with Kildare County Council and the I.D.A. in providing sites for industry at a number of locations throughout the town, as part of its policy to create and sustain employment.

The Council also maintains close liaison with Athy Investment Development & Employment Forum, I.D.A., Enterprise Ireland, Kildare County Enterprise Board, Action South Kildare, the OAK partnership and other agencies in pursuit of its policy to stimulate economic activity in the county.
