Affordable Housing in Athy

Affordable homes are provided by Athy Town Council to help people who want to buy a home in Athy but cannot afford to buy on the open market.

Attractive 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes are available in two developments:

• Ardrew, Fortbarrington Road, Athy, Co. Kildare
• Gallows Hill, Kildare Road, Athy, Co. Kildare.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for an affordable home you should:

• Be a first time buyer (certain exceptions apply);
• Be in full time employment for at least 6 months or self-employed for at least 2 years; and
• Earn between €25,000 and €55,000 as a single applicant or up to €75,000 combined income if you are applying with someone else.
